I'm Matt with etrailer and today we're talking about the Yakima roof rack on top of our 2022 Honda CR-V. And it's gonna be a great option if you're going on a trip and you need to store some extra luggage because maybe you have some friends and family with you and you can't put it on inside your vehicle, especially if you already have a hitch that's being used by either a trailer or something else or you don't have a hitch at all. And it's really gonna be good if you have any longer items that you can't fit into the back of your vehicle anyways. It's important you know what kind of roof you have, so way you can check is right now we do have a naked roof and that means we're not gonna have any type of rail on top. You can also get this vehicle with flush rails and that's gonna be something you'll be able to notice because you can get your hands around that and to make sure you're getting the right kit for you you can plug in your vehicle's information into our website before I find the correct fit for you. This consists of two parts. You have your 60 inch JetStream crossbars and then you have your TimberLine towers for raised rails. For your Honda Pilot there might be different options for your roof depending on your trim, and you'll either see rails that look like this, you can fit your hand through. So it's important to note that your Odyssey has a couple of different roof options, and this particular roof rack is designed to work with raised rails. That's basically any raised section on your roof like this that we can clamp around or underneath of. If you have that, then this could be a good kit for you. Of all of the roof rack systems you have for a 2019 Honda Odyssey on our site the SeaSucker Monkey Bars are gonna be the quickest and easiest ones to get a roof rack system up and onto your roof. For the Honda Odyssey, there's some roof rack systems that you have to drill into your roof that's kind of intense. This is gonna be super easy. Right now, it's completely secured down, super, super sturdy but all we have to do is lift up on these tabs to get the roof rack completely undone and then we just take a little bit of time to pump it up. And in a matter of less than a minute we're gonna have bars that are nice and secured to our roof which makes this the ideal system for your Honda Odyssey. How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack on our 2016 Honda Pilot. So these are a great option in the event that you wanna transport some of your larger items and accessories on top of your roof, but you might have a rental or you just have a situation where you don't necessarily want to have a roof rack system that makes contact with your car, these are a great option, they just suction on top of the car onto your naked roof and they have a pretty strong hold. On the subject of that strength, these are capable of supporting a weight capacity of up to 150 pounds. Now, these are our 48 inch version. As you can see, it's a relatively sleek and compact look, they do also come in a 60 inch version as well, which will just give you a little bit more overhang and a little bit more room on there to spread out your accessories. more

So this is the Honda Civic Sedan and it's a cool looking car, but what if you wanna use it for other things besides looking cool Maybe you wanna carry around other accessories like your roof box or your kayaks or your roof basket. Today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack RT-Style roof rack track system. Some vehicles we don't have the option to put a roof rack on the roof, kind of like our Odyssey we have here. Usually it's because of sliding doors, but there are some other instances where we aren't gonna be able to put a roof rack on here, but with these rails, it's going to allow us to do that. We can do a two bar set up to get a lot of accessories on our roof. With the Rhino-Rack kit, we have two different crossbars to pick from and two different colors for each. Or we can just go with the aero crossbars, it's gonna be a little bit quieter up on your roof, a little bit more aerodynamic. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at the rhino rack RT style roof rack track aero bar system. There are two different types of roof rack systems you can put on a naked roof. Typically, what you see is with normal vehicles unlike vans is we have these little clamps that go in the door jams, but since we have this it's preventing us from doing that. So that's why the tracks are gonna be in that fit guide, whenever you put that vehicle in. I really like the track system, just because it gives you the ability to slide these around when it comes to the other style clamp naked roof sets that you may be seeing, we're kind of limited to where we need to put them. Half the time in the instructions it tells you to put it in a specific spot and you're kind of limited there. more

Hi everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, for your naked roof, on your 2014 Honda CRV. If you're looking for a fairly cost-effective roof rack, that has all the features that I really look for, in a roof rack system, I definitely think that the Vortex Aero Rhino-Rack Roof Rack system, is gonna be good for you. We're going to be able to put about 165 pounds worth of stuff on top, we have T-Tracks, it's made of aluminum, it's not gonna rust away, and it's just gonna allow your CRV, and the people you're driving around, to do more. Some things that you don't see with some roof racks is locks, these come with it. Even some of the higher end racks, you really have to purchase the lock separately, which is kind of silly in my opinion, but this one comes all with it, you don't have to buy anything separate. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the INNO square bar roof rack system on our 2019 Honda Odyssey.So, this is going to be a great way to get a lot of that cargo on the inside of your Odyssey up and out of it onto our roof. A lot of the time, some people use cargo baskets in the hitch, but that adds quite a bit of length to the back of your vehicle. So, if you're not really wanting to do that, if you're going to be in some close quarter situations, or you just rather just have it up on top so you don't have to worry about all that, I do think that the system will be a good choice for you guys.But one thing that this is lacking is just the T slot type attachments that we can put on top of it. We won't be able to do so, but a lot of those attachments are just going to wrap around your bars, and these are going to be able to use all of those on them.So, if you're putting on, let's just say, a rooftop cargo box, a cargo basket, maybe even a couple of bike carriers, or even a kayak carrier, whatever it is, I do think that these bars are going to get the job done. more

Today, in our 2016 Honda CRV, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack RVP Fixed Mounted Roof Rack System. I've already got it installed just to give you a good idea what it looks like, but this system is designed to mount directly to your flush mounted rails on your CRV. You're gonna be able to carry roof mount accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and much more. Now, as I said, it's a fixed mounted system, which means it's not gonna be adjustable along the rails like other roof rack systems. The crossbar spread center on center is around 31 and three quarters, so you want to be sure you choose accessories that are going to work with that spread. Now, the crossbars offer about 38 inches of usable space. more

They're made out of aluminum, so you don't need to worry about any rust or corrosion. But you can see how they stretch out across the entire roof of our CRV. You can also purchase this kit with silver crossbars. This roof rack system allows you to carry, a wide variety of accessories or equipment on top of the roof of your vehicle to conserve space on the inside. Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2016 Honda Pilot- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Honda Pilot we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers Y00426. These are the jet stream crossbars, 60" long and these also come in silver. These are going to be connected to the Baseline Tower System here and that's going to be part number Y00146. To connect it to the vehicle we had the Base Clip Fit Kit, part number Y06152, and that's going to be the same for the rear bars as well.This is a great roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories such as bike racks, cargo baskets or cargo boxes. The bars have a nice aerodynamic shape to them and that couple with the rubber strip up at the top as well as the one you'll reinstall on the bottom will help cut down that wind noise and drag while you drive, eliminating the need for any fairings, like you would need with round bars.Removing our end cap here it can use t-track accessories with this system and instead of having to remove the strip like you would with other roof rack systems with this, you simply push down the strip in the center here and slide t-track accessories in place and then tighten them down.Moving to the towers, they do have these plastic knock-out's here that you can take out and replace with the Yakima SKS lock courses to which install separately, so you can secure this to your vehicle, and also make it key to like with the accessories that you are hauling.How it attaches to the roof. We have this clamp here with the Fit Kit, as well as this base pad, and both of these do have the padding as well as the clamp here to help protect the vehicle once it's being installed from any scratches or abrasions.So let's go ahead and show you how the rear bar gets put into place. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Honda CR-V- Video

This is going to be consisting of part numbers Y00425, these are the JetStream crossbars. Part number Y00148, these are the SkyLine Towers, and they kind of snap into place with our landing pads. And the landing pads are going to be part number Y00245. This is specifically for the Honda CR-V.It attaches to two pre-attachment points on the actual flush mounted side rails of your CR-V, and these bars are designed to work with a wide variety of accessories. This helps you put anything you don't want inside the vehicle, outside, or just to free up a little bit more space if you need to. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Honda Accord- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Honda Accord, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers INXB130-2. These are the Inno aero crossbars, 51 inches long. And then to hold them in place we have the Inno Through Feet, part number INXS250. And then to attach it to our vehicle, we have the fit kit here and that's going to be part number, INK592. Now this roof rack system is great for carrying a wider variety of accessories such as bike racks, cargo baskets, and cargo boxes. And unlike the flush mount system, you actually have a little more space to fit more accessories on top and if you wanted to, we do offer another style of this where the bars come out past the actual feet here to provide even more space.These are aero shaped bars that will cut down wind noise and drag while you drive. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Honda Accord INK592- Video

That's going to be part number INK592.This is a great roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories ranging from bike racks to cargo baskets, to cargo boxes. The shape of the bars themselves is aerodynamically shaped, so that's going to cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive, eliminate the need for any fairings that you might need for say square bars. Moving onto our end caps, they do come with a lock already installed, so once you have everything on your roof, it's going to be secured to it, and removing our end cap here, you can see that we have this rubber strip up at the top here. more

These are the Baseline Towers designed for naked roofs.Finally, to attach it to the vehicle, we're using the Base Clip Fit Kit part number Y06152.This is going to be the same for the rear bars as well. These are great sturdy cross bars for your roof, and car carry a wide variety of accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, excuse me, cargo baskets, and cargo boxes.While, they are exceptionally sturdy, they do cause noise while you drive. Now, you can purchase fairings that you can find on etrailer.com to help cut down that wind noise and drag, or you can upgrade to the Yakima core bars that also utilize this tower system.Moving onto the towers themselves, at the end caps here, we do have these plastic portions that can be removed and replaced with the Yakima SKS Lock Core System, so you can secure it to your vehicle and make it key to like with the accessories that you're hauling.Removing our end cap here you can see how everything attaches to the vehicle itself. We have the clamp that attaches to the door frame, as well as the pad underneath. Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Honda Accord, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rola Sports Series roof rack with GTX mounting system, part number 59757. This Rola roof rack system is going to allow you to carry roof mount accessories on your Honda Accord, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, roof boxes, and more.The crossbars have about 38 inches of usable space. They're made out of aluminum, and have an arrow style to them, which means they're going to be a lot more aerodynamic than your traditional round or square bars. And they're also going to reduce the need for a fairing. They're going to work with your standard clamp-on accessories, as well as some T-track mounted accessories. You'll simply remove or trim the rubber strip around those accessories.With the cover open, it's the perfect time to mention how it hides our included tool and protects our hardware. more
